Teddy Bear Dwarf Southern Magnolia – 3 Gallon Pot

I am a first-time customer with Wilson Bros Gardens. I purchased three magnolias: ‘Claudia Wannamaker’, ‘Southern Charm’ (TeddyBear®), and ‘MGTIG’ (“Greenback”). Delivery was quick and the plant was very well packaged. Nice size plant and very healthy. I will wait a bit until spring to get it in the ground since it’s still February here up north and very cold. The pot is a nice size and the plant should be happy for another few weeks in the garage. We bought the 3 gallon size. It arrived in great condition, we planted it within a couple of days. It is continuing to do well, it only dropped a couple of leaves, probably due to a bit of climate shock since we are further north.
But, it looks healthy and happy, we staked it so it wouldn’t lean during windy days, and put a chicken wire fence around it, to keep local critters from digging at the roots or wounding the bark. Keeping fingers crossed it lives through our zone 7 winter. Our neighborhood has a few large Southern magnolias, so we have high hopes for this one.————————It’s hardy in Zone 7, so it should be fine. Very happy with my purchase. I was not sure where to order from and your website was very clear and easy
to understand. What sold me was the replacement shipping if case of damage on transit. My order arrived
in great shape and the packing was excellent. No damage to the tree and was very content.
The only BAD thing was that I did not order 2 trees at the time. The tree is in the ground and looks great
it should do well here in the desert of Southern Arizona . There are trees growing in this area.

I ordered the dwarf magnolia because it’s one of my wife’s favorite flowers. My wife enjoys real plants way more than she does the wasteful cut & arrange flowers that die instantly, so more times than not, I’ll surprise her with a new plant or two rather than jewelry for her collection/garden.
The pricing was great and shipping was fast in my opinion. The magnolia came in a very thick, breathable cardboard box. The plant was healthy and came with plenty of useful information. The Teddy Bear Magnolia I ordered arrived safe and sound, looking healthy and packaged perfectly. I recently planted it and it still looks wonderful. It’s too soon to see much growth but new leaves are growing shiny and new.
